our world of code
Also Known As: How to not design a website (or do, who am I to judge?)

This section is dedicated to things you should do before starting your journey.

Note that this is only one of the ways you can webweave, in my opinion the most comfortable one. What is said here is not the absolute truth where everything else is wrong.

A good start is to get a program called VScodium - a version of Microsoft's Visual Studio Code, but without the telemetry stuff in. It will be useful since it has the perk of generating the closing tags for you, which saves a little bit of time.

Once you're done with installing VSCodium, open it, and then navigate to File - Open Folder.
From now on, you should make a folder somewhere on your computer where all site files will go. I personally keep mine on Desktop. :-)
The name of the folder does not matter.

If the program asks you if you trust the folder, say yes.
Now you're prepared for the grand adventure!

Optional but recommended: Download the Live Preview extension from ms-vscode, it will be your best friend!
